Water water everywhere . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . nor a drop to Drink

Hey it’s a great fun to take bathe under a shower.

Are we closing the tap properly after using water or is there any water leakage? We think oceans are filled with water & shortage will never occur. Truth is 29% of Earth is covered with land & remaining 71% is covered with water, but only 2% of water is potable.

Holi Hein ! ! ! Holi comes in summer, when it is already water shortage; water is always available in cities, where they play holi by using lots n lots of water, without giving a second thought to nearby villages. They provide us with vegetables, flowers, fruits & other perishable food. In summer villages’ people & domestic animals don’t have water to drink; land dries up & is not able to produce.

If we manage water well, we can save water. Think where water must be going after we used it. All those gutters which end in oceans, very small amount of water recycled or reuse.

Ganapati Bappa Morya ! ! ! Those ten days full of fun, because of the guest at home. The last day of his stay & then we submerge the Ganesh idols in water. Most of the time these idols are made up of Plaster Of Paris (POP), when it is mixed with water; it causes harmful effects to organisms in water. Plus all flowers, food (Nirmalya) we let it flow with water. Please support Muncipal Corporation & NGOs who are willingly collecting Ganesh Idols & flowers with it, so as to reduce water pollution.

It has been said that, THIRD World War will happen over Water, so if we want to protect our children from this war we need to save water, because they will blame us for this war.

Say No To Plastic Carry Bags

It’s always better to carry a cloth or ask for paper bag, rather than plastic carry bags. We are so habitual of not carrying any carry bag with us, every time we go for shopping, after using it, we throw it away. These plastic bags in summer produce highly toxic gases and during rains it chokes up in drainpipes, resulting in water clogging & heavy floods. Many a time we use these plastic bags for throwing domestic waste, which in further eaten by cows, there are several cases of cattle dyeing due to choked intestines.

So make a habit of carrying a bag with you & say no to plastic carry bags, which will automatically reduce the usage of plastic bags.

Chocolate is so sweet, but again wrapped in plastic, we throw that wrapper on roads. Can we instead carry it along & throw it in dustbin. Easy to do rather than, blaming someone for not doing their job. So make a habit if you are eating anything, if it is wrapped in plastic, must go to the dustbin.

Same is the case of plastic water bottle, people throw them anywhere, railway tracks, roadside, out of houses & make the places messy for ourselves. If we can’t recycle Reuse, Reduce, Refill plastic bottles.

Plastic is rapidly growing solid waste, water bottles, medicine, shampoo, oil, etc.

This Mantra says “O Mother Earth, you are wearing ocean as your Garments & mountains as your bosom! O wife of Shri Vishnu!  I bow to you, please forgive us for touching you with our feet for daily activities! ”

This Mantra only says that please forgive us that we are touching you with our feet, but this Mantra is not saying that we have any rights to bring down your mighty mountains, cut down your trees, pollute water, kill your animals. O Mother Earth, will you forgive us for this.

We have taken this world on rent from our children, yes on rent! Today we are using this world as a home for us & tomorrow we will hand over it to our children. Today we are releasing numerous toxic gases in air, misusing the resources like water & electricity, tree cutting for paper & habitat. Tomorrow will they be able to see this beautiful Earth? Covered with beautiful flora and fauna.

This Earth doesn’t need people, because man is the only living creature who is thoughtlessly using it. None of the living creature pollutes, its only man who does it.

Think of an Earth without humans, it will be most beautiful place full of animals, nobody to kill them & the jungles, mountains, fresh water, fresh air, how wonderful & astonishing it would be
